Digital Earth Relay

In case of number of conductive equipments to be monitored are more, Earth monitoring unit-Remote have been developed to prevent static charge accumulation & discharge it to earth safely to any conductive plant equipment filling, offloading and or in operation. The EMU-Remote ensure that correct bonding and grounding procedure are carried out before transfer operation begins. The system becomes permissive only if clamp or permanent monitoring cable to plant equipment is connected. A local field indication made available confirms earth condition to human, while potential free contact may be interlocked to pump/valve etc. The unit confirms designed parameter of IS7689, NFPA and all electrostatic hazard control international standards.

  • It  continuously  monitors  the connection  to  the  conductive  plants drums,  vessels,  other  plant equipments)  and  to  earth,  providing instant feedback to the operator
